Kwey! Boozhoo! My name is Melanie Lauzon, born and raised in Kazabazua, Quebec. I am Anishinaabekwe from Kebaowek First Nation. I am 27 years old, mom of two beautiful young boys who just love the sense of community we have in this region.
Being able to be a part of Be and Become feels like a full circle in all the best ways. I was a youth participant growing up and now I have a chance to Pay it Forward through my work with the youth of today.

​Hi, I’m Alex! I grew up in between Ottawa and Quyon and now, after living in Montreal for a few years, have made my way to this beautiful area. I love to spend time outside, adventuring, farming, and also enjoy making interesting food, playing music, and learning whatever I can. I’m excited to be able to share my interests and skills with other youth in the area by working with Be and Become. I’ll see you around!
